  • Harassment terrible shopping experience

I went to hobby lobby shopping on Saturday April 22, 2017 at approximately 3p.m. i was looking to buy colored pencils. after about 5 minutes a woman asked me if i needed help and i replied no. The woman continued to follow me around the store going down every aisle i did at least 4 to 5 times. She kept walking by me or past me she made some comment about seeing things out of the corner of her eye, i picked out 3 items for purchase i went to checkout and i asked the girl if i needed the online coupon number for the 40% off coupon. She stated yes so i went to my car to retrieve my cell phone... More...

  • hobby lobby check out and floor staff

This is in regard to the Hobby Lobby in Marion, IN. This has been going on since it has reopened. These are two reasons if I had another store to go to with the products I need I would go there instead of Hobby Lobby in Marion. Reason #1 when I am shopping the staff stocking the isles are ALWAYS loud, laughing. That is great for a social event but I am there planning a craft and trying to think which I can't do when there is noise and fast motion around me. 2nd reason I have learned I need to plan to spend a 1/2 hour in the checkout lane. There is usually just one register open... More...

An employee stopped me and informed me that if I was going back into the store I would need to leave my bag at the front desk. I told her I thought that was offensive, and she told me it was "company policy". I didn't have time to argue, so I left my bag and took my son to the restrooms. Afterward I returned all the merchandise. I don't plan to shop... More...

  • Sale pricing policy

On September 22, 2009 I bought 9 coin collecting books, at full price, at Hobby Lobby #70 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was again in the store on October 3, 2009 for other purchases. The store clerk took me to the same aisle as the coin books and I saw they were on sale for 30% off. The clerk told me if I brought the books and receipt in, within 2 weeks of purchase, I would receive the discounted price. I returned on October 5th with the books and receipt and was turned away "because the items are no longer on sale according to the newspaper ad". I have always favored HL... More...
